About the Artist
Heyo! My name is Kevin Pendleton. I'm an aspiring artist studying Fine Arts, History, and Philosophy in Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I was born in the little town of Benavides, (don't blink on the highway when you pass through, you might miss it!). Growing up in a small town, there was a limit to how many opportunities for young artists there were. I wasn't able to even attend an art class while I was in High School. However, that didn't stop me from starting what has now become my life-long career choice. I began to develop my own eye for aesthetics and work on my own technique; mainly for acrylic speed paintings. During the course of my education in TAMUK, I aim to gain a better awareness for concepts in art and increase my technnique and skill. This website will show all of my work, (paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures, and etcetera), during my college career to show the progression of my style and concept. Enjoy!
